Introduction

Gopinath’s Fun School is an interactive children’s and young adult’s class for learning about values and ethics from the rich Vaishnava culture. The curriculum, teachers and facility are all Krishna conscious and they aim to inspire, entertain and build relationships with the students that will make lasting impressions for their whole lives.

What is Gopinath’s Fun School?

Gopinath’s Fun School is an interactive children’s and young adult’s class for learning about values and ethics from the rich Vaishnava culture. The curriculum, teachers and facility are all Krishna conscious and they aim to inspire, entertain and build relationships with the students that will make lasting impressions for their whole lives.

When?

Saturday and Sunday mornings in the Gurukula building next to the sandy playground (see map).

Who can attend?

Any guest or resident child/youth is welcome to attend the classes. Class ages are as follows: (English only) • 3–5 years 11 am – 11:45 am • 6–9 years 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm • 10–13 years 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm (Lunch is served at approx. 1:45 pm year-round)

What children do there?

During a typical class the children will do hands on activities such as: singing a song with Indian instruments, playing a game, reading a story and discussing the meaning (the older groups), have a snack and many other activities depending on the focus for that unit.

What is the cost?

To maintain the teachers and facility we ask that a donation is given of € 4,– per class per child (on a weekly basis). For monthly or yearly fees you can speak to the teacher for more information.

How do I sign up?

If you are planning to visit the Radhadesh temple and stay in the guesthouse you can sign-up at the reception up to 24 hours in advance. They will notify the teachers of that weekend.
