What is IYS Yatra?
ISKCON Youth Services has been organizing spiritual retreats, Yatras, every year for young boys to different holy places of India to provide them a firsthand experience of the rich spiritual heritage of India. Since its inception, IYS Yatra has several times visited places like Vrindavan, Jaipur, Ayodhya, Chitrakoot, Dwarka, Naimisharanya, Mayapur, Jagannath Puri, Aholbilam, Hampi, Srirangam, Rameshwaram etc. Such pilgrimages are a means of strengthening oneself internally by absorbing the vibrations of such holy places where the Supreme Personality of Godhead has personally performed His pastimes.
Apart from the annual IYS yatra, the IYS mentors also keep taking small groups of young boys to different places all round the year.
